With over a decade in solar, our management team focuses on getting the job right every time, so you can benefit from our vast experience. All management team members are part of one local family, so you know they care about doing the right job at a fair price.
Our staff are Clean Energy Council accredited, meaning they have all the latest solar installation training to stay ahead of the latest technical developments. This means, unlike massive solar sales companies that rely on hit and miss subcontractors to install your solar, we have dedicated in-house crews to install for you.
This method guarantees consistent top installation quality, and you always know who is responsible for the work.

Dan
General ManagerDan helped start the business back in 2011 with his dad Nick. Dan is who makes things happen these day. Friendly and calm in his demeanour, Dan is the engine that never stops. He is driving the day to day business and SolarWide’s key supplier relationships as well as the growth strategy for the company.
Becca
Office ManagerBecca is Dan's better half & Nick and Carol's daughter-in-law. Becca has been part of the business from the start in 2011. She undertakes the key part in getting all the paperwork done for each customer from the STC's, EWR / Energex request, warranty registration and everything else in-between. She keeps the office running smoothly and looking its best!
Andrew
Operations ManagerAndrew has been with SolarWide for many years. He started as an electrical apprentice and has over the years kept on progressing to be in charge of installation and service side of the business.
Nick
Managing DirectorNick works closely with Dan to oversee all elements of the business. He started the company in 2011 with the long term vision to create a sustainable, quality focused solar company, striving for excellence.
Carol
DirectorAs one of the directors, and as Nick’s wife she has a good overview of the business and it’s Carol that everyone keeps happy, as she pays the wages.
Sales & Admin
Cas
ReceptionistCas takes the incoming enquiries, booking in the appointments and helps the sales team on a day to basis. She’s a go getter and makes sure that everything gets done on time. She also does all of our amazing social media posts!
Desiree
AccountsThe bills get paid and the invoices submitted in an efficient fashion thanks to Desiree. Whoever thinks Accountants are dull has not met Desiree, the life of the party.
Warwick
Solar Energy ConsultantWarwick enjoys giving customers what they want. His sales approach is friendly and calm. He has lots of experience and this helps customers get the best system for their needs. Warwick started out working in our install teams for a couple of years before moving into sales. He know solar well and understands the practical side of what can and can not be done.
Jeb
Solar Energy ConsultantJeb is a fully qualified electrician and CEC installer, he use to run one of our install crews but have now moved into sales. Jeb does detailed site inspections. He gets on the roof and checks what’s needed, he checks the cabling and metering and does everything properly. None of the sales proposals via Google. You will get a detail and realistic proposal.

Solar Energy ConsultantPete has been with SolarWide since the beginning. He’s Dan and Becca’s brother in law, and knows solar inside out. He has sold thousand of solar systems over the years for SolarWide and loves the environmental benefits of solar. In 2020 and 2021 he took some time off to travel Australia in a caravan but he’s now back with SolarWide and loves meeting new people every day.
Adrian
Solar Energy ConsultantIf you want to buy solar Adrian knows his stuff. He has been in the industry for about 10 years and loves a chat. If you’re busy, don’t ask him about Land Rovers as he loves them even more than solar. He’s absolutely obsessed with old Land Rovers and normally has a few (or 20) that he’s working on.
Randall
Solar Energy ConsultantRandall has been involved in the solar industry since 2008 so he has certainly been around a while and learnt a lot. He carries out proper on site visits for his solar quotes and will run you though various options tailored to you. He loves his job, because solar can save customers big bucks. He loves financial modelling showing how longer lasting solar is better for the environment and the hip pocket.

Jarron
CEC Accredited InstallerJarron is one of our CEC qualified electricians and is a knowledge wizard. He is one to the best electricians you’ll ever meet and answers the difficult technical questions.
Cal
CEC Accredited InstallerCal earned his CEC qualification with excellence. He finished off his apprenticeship with SolarWide and then progressed to managing his install own teams.
Ryan
CEC Accredited InstallerRyan is one of our CEC qualified electricians. He is very experienced with large commercial solar installations, including designs, but he also loves residential and battery installs.
Nick
CEC Accredited InstallerNick started his Apprenticeship with another company but when he moved to SolarWide to complete the remaining couple of years of learning he realised we worked at a different level of quality. He has adopted all of these practices well and has now become a qualified electrician and now a fully qualified CEC installer as well. Nick is now running installs on his own, and is doing a great job.
James
Electrical ApprenticeJames is solid as a rock. He is reliable and a fast learner. Solar is his passion and he is also learning a lot about batteries and Smart-home installs.

Trade AssistantBrendon is a grafter. Brendon is always working hard to get the hard jobs done. You will normally find him up on the roof helping install the mounting system etc. He’s a qualified chippy but now uses his skills to help us on the roof.
